I’m currently planning the installation of a structured wiring cabinet, and came across things I didn’t know – like the fact that keystone fiber jacks can be made from a variety of materials. This apparently matters.

Luckily I found a paper from Panduit that discusses the matter. It’s a good read.

TL;DR: You probably can’t go wrong with the Zirconia Ceramic connectors, and should stick with them if you’re running OM3 fiber in any event.
